The Samsung S8500 Wave was announced in February 2010 and released in April 2010. The weight of this phone is 118g and it measures 118 x 56 x 10.9 mm. It supports both the 2G and the 3G network and is a HSDPA phone. The phone has a AMOLED capacitive touch screen with 16M colours. The other features of the phone include Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, Gorilla glass display, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off, an input method that is a multi-touch one, TouchWiz UI 3.0, handwriting recognition and smart unlock.
