If there was any affordable WP7 handset in the market, the newly introduced HTC 7 Pro would certainly top that list. Being an affordable handset doesn?t necessarily mean compromising on features. Connectivity wise, the Pro arrives with GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and micro USB 2.0. The handset also offer exceptional multimedia experience especially in the context of sound quality as it hosts SRS sound enhancement and Dolby Mobile support. Powering this beast is a 1 GHz Scorpion processor that?s ably supported by 448 MB of built in RAM, 512 MB of onboard ROM.
HTC ships the 7 Pro only in metallic black, in either an 8GB model or a 16GB one. Built in applications include Digital compass, integrated Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Voice memo/dial, Predictive text input and Pocket Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and PDF viewer). HTC have also included a 5MP autofocus HD camera that ships with a built in LED flash and can record 720p videos. Geo-tagging and face detection are the support features.
